FRC Community Garden

The FRC Community Garden began in 2010. As a seasonal volunteer project, it runs each year between March and November.

The Community Garden is planted, tended, and harvested by a team of volunteers and people who want to make a difference.

It is a great way for people of different neighborhoods to come together and connect with each other and the land.

One plot is devoted to fruits and vegetables, and the harvest is distributed to local food pantries. We grow a variety of onions, tomatoes and all kinds of beans and squashes.

Another plot is reserved for flowers, a splendor to see during the growing season. Flowers from the garden are picked to take to local nursing homes and other agencies.

We are always looking for volunteers to join our garden project. No prior experience necessary....just a can do attitude. Sign up on our volunteer page.
